Join us for a special Open Forum, in partnership with Exodus World Service, featuring a portrait gallery highlighting the resilience and experiences of our refugee neighbors in Chicago.

The conversation around school options has become increasingly complicated in recent years. As Christians raising families in Chicago, figuring out what’s best for your family can feel overwhelming as you navigate the many options—neighborhood schools, selective enrollment programs, private schools, homeschooling, and more.
As a church, we want to come alongside you in this process—not to tell you what choice to make, but to offer encouragement, practical wisdom, and the opportunity to hear from families who have walked this path before, as well as educators who have experience in these different systems.
Wherever you are in the journey—whether you’re just getting started, in the thick of research, or feeling pretty settled in your decision—we invite you to join us for a morning of encouragement, family and educator panels, discussion and community-building.

Throughout Scripture, we encounter women serving as leaders and laborers, entrepreneurs and artists, prophets and patrons—women whose work, worship, courage, and influence advanced God’s purposes in the world. Yet their stories can often be overlooked.
Gather with women from across Chicagoland for a day of encouragement, wisdom, and practical conversation about following Christ in every season of work and vocation. We'll livestream the Women, Work & Calling Conference together, enjoy lunch, and create space for meaningful discussion and connection with other professional women. Whether you're just beginning your career or have decades of experience, we'd love to have you join us.

Culture & Theology Cohort
Life in our Creative World: Forming Christian Imagination through the Arts
This year's Culture and Theology Cohort invites participants to encounter the Christian story through a new collection of literature, music, visual art, and poetry. During 6 evening sessions over the course of 6 months, we'll explore themes such as identity and community, moral courage, vocation and calling, time and mortality, hospitality and grace, and the hope of new creation. As we engage these works alongside Scripture and in conversation with one another, we'll cultivate a Christian imagination that is biblically rooted, culturally engaged, and shaped by the beauty, truth, and goodness of God.

Join Faith & Work Chicago for our Salt & Light quarterly gathering, partnering with the Chicago Fellowship and other faith & work organizations in the city! We look forward to welcoming Dr. Denise Daniels, the Hudson T. Harrison Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship at Wheaton College.
Dr. Daniels will share from her latest book, Working for Better, which draws from over twenty years of research and presents a groundbreaking exploration of how to express Christian faith in professional settings without compromising beliefs or alienating others.

Christ in Every Promise
Christ in Every Promise: God’s Story through the Covenants
Covenants — ancient agreements built on promises — show up at important moments throughout Scripture. As we trace the story of Scripture through God’s covenants with His people, we’ll see that whenever God makes a deal, it’s good news for humanity. In fact, these covenants build toward the greatest promise of all: Jesus Christ.
This 6-week course will examine major covenants in Scripture, revealing how the entire Bible tells one true story of God's faithful, promise-keeping love.
We will meet Sunday mornings (11:00 AM -12:15 PM) from Oct 18 - Nov 22. Childcare will be provided, but you must register by Oct 4 to guarantee childcare availability.

Habits of Formation
Habits of Formation: An Introduction to Spiritual Formation
We are constantly being formed through conscious and unconscious habits in our daily lives. Throughout history, Christians have engaged in spiritual habits and practices that work to counter-form us into the image of Christ.
This 6-week course (October 18-November 22) will help you understand, value, and employ these practices in your own life and community.
Childcare will be provided, but you must register by Oct 4 to guarantee the availability of childcare providers. Please drop us an email if you have any questions.

Lakeside Worship Service
Join us for a lakeside worship and baptism service on the shores of Lake Michigan this Sunday, August 23rd at 9:00am. We’ll be meeting at 31st Street Beach with the service beginning at 9:00am. There will be no services at 218 S Wabash this week.
Please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on. We will have a brief service followed by baptisms in Lake Michigan.
Feel free to stick around after the service for some time hanging out and fellowshipping by the lake!
Family Fun Night
Join us for a night of fun and family fellowship! Bounce house, yard games, face painting—there will be something for everyone ranging from toddlers to 5th graders! This is a come-and-go event so please feel free to drop by anytime between 4:30pm-7pm. Dinner will be served starting at 5:30pm.
Community Group Sign Ups
Sunday worship is central to our life as a church, but it doesn’t stop there. That’s why we gather in Community Groups – small groups that meet weekly in neighborhoods across Chicago to study God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, and live out the gospel together. Community Groups kick off in September and run through May.

Where: Illinois Beach State Park
Join us for a weekend away to enjoy fellowship, worship, and time together in God's creation.
Our hope for the weekend is to:
Build fellowship by spending unhurried, quality time together—something that's often hard to do in the pace of city life.
Pray and worship together as we enjoy God's creation and encourage one another in our faith.
Cast vision for the year ahead by considering how we can intentionally care for and disciple one another as men in our church.
Please bring your own camping gear and food for the weekend. If you don't have camping equipment, please indicate that on the registration form, and we'll do our best to connect you with another man who can help.

Work Matters
What does it mean to pursue a calling that is both excellent and sustainable — one that reflects who God made you to be without losing yourself in the process?
Join Work Matters, CS Lewis Institute, Renew Chicago, and Faith & Work Chicago for an evening fireside conversation with Dr. Arianna Molloy, author of Healthy Calling: From Toxic Burnout to Sustainable Work, as she explores what it looks like to hold vocation and identity with open hands. Together, we'll examine the spiritual rhythms, honest limits, and deeper motivations that shape not just how we work, but why — and how the gospel speaks into all of it.
The event includes dinner and discussion. You'll leave with a richer framework for thinking about your own calling, practical language for the tensions you already feel, and the encouragement that faithfulness at work is less about doing more and more about being rooted. We hope the evening sparks conversation that continues long after you leave.

Women's Ministry Summer Study
Women of HTC, have you ever worn something that almost fits, but never quite feels right? That subtle discomfort mirrors a deeper truth: as Christians, this world isn’t our home. We’re loved by God, yet living as exiles, longing for something more.
Join us for a 7-week study on 1 Peter as we explore what it means to live as elect exiles then and now. We’ll meet Monday nights from 6:30–8:00pm at the Church, June 15th through July 27th.

Fall Cohort Application Deadlines
We believe that growth takes place over time and in the context of community. The Holy Trinity Institute provides various cohort-based opportunities each academic year to help individuals lead in business and society, support couples in their marriages, and train vocational ministers in the context of the local church. Be sure to check out three of our Cohorts that run from September 2026 to May 2027. Applications are due by June 1.
Re-Engage: A marriage discipleship curriculum for couples to grow together through the lens of the Gospel.
The Burnham Fellowship: A 9-month discipleship program integrating theological reflection, spiritual formation, and hands-on projects to impact your life and work.
