Adult Christian education at Holy Trinity Church is designed to equip believers in ways that maximize their Christian usefulness in the world. Biblical instruction and lively discussion and interaction are mainstays and topics range from the more traditional and expected to the contemporary and cutting edge.

Fall Series 2018–2019
Cultural Sensitivity: A Discussion on Diversity at HTC
What does it look like when people of many cultural backgrounds worship together as one church body? What should it look like? How easy is it for some to fit into a majority culture worship style? Can a church really worship and serve in a way that meets the needs of a diverse body?
Come join us as we wrestle with these types of questions during our Adult Education hour. We will hear from a number of our church members as they share their stories, their frustrations, and their vision for a worship experience that embraces our diversity. We will also have time for frank conversation about what this struggle looks like within our own church family.
We will also host a special series on Gospel Music during the weeks of October 14 and 21 as part of this overall discussion. Amanda Pettaway will teach us about the history of Gospel Music and its importance to the African American worship experience. Amanda will also teach us a number of Gospel songs that we will be able to incorporate into our regular worship services.
