Sunday Services for HTC Downtown
We meet at Murphy Auditorium (50 E. Erie) (see the blue pin on the map above). Sunday service at 10am.
Summer Service Times: Worship Service - 10am; Sunday Community Classes - 9am
Throughout the summer our service times for the downtown congregation are changing. Starting June 7, and extending through Labor Day, we are merging to one worship service at 10am, with Sunday Communities meeting at 9am. This gives us more time to enjoy the summer in the city together. After the 10am service, make plans to go out for lunch or a picnic with HTC friends and new-comers.
Nursery care is provided for small children (under 3 years old). We have a paging system so parents can leave their children with the assurance that if your child needs your attention, we can immediately page you in the service.
In addition, we have Team Kids (grades K-5) and Team Tots (ages 3-5), which takes place during the sermon. Team Tots is walking through the Old Testament this year with age-appropriate activities and songs to help them learn. Team Kids is learning about the names of God throughout scripture Both classes meet in the large room on the 5th floor, where parents can pick up their children after the service.
If you have any questions about the downtown congregation's children's ministries, e-mail Jaymi Raad at cmdirector@htcchicago.org, or call the church office.
Parking
Metered parking is no longer free on Sundays in Chicago! Parking for Holy Trinity services is available at Central Parking System (CPS) at 10 E. Ontario. Parking validations for CPS will be $3 for a 12 hour pass. To enter coming from either direction on Wabash, turn west onto Ontario and take an immediate right to enter the garage. The sign says “Self Park.” Parking validations are available at the Welcome Table, in the lobby of Murphy Auditorium.
Masculinity is eroding these days. Even we as Christian men fail to display biblical manhood. Jesus appeared two millennia ago as the paragon of masculinity. His life, death and resurrection give life and manhood their meaning. Follow Christ with other brothers as we seek to remind ourselves of this gospel. We are reading through Disciplines of a Godly Man by Kent Hughes as a catalyst for discussion. We meet monthly at our Downtown office (28 E. Jackson, Suite 210). Our next meeting is Thursday, September 18, from 6-7:15am. There will be caffeine and some light "nourishment."
